BLUES SCALE
The diagram below contains the entire BLUES scale. It is a six-note scale consisting of the FIRST, SECOND, FLAT THIRD, THIRD, FIFTH, and SIXTH degrees (1, 2, b3, 3, 5, 6) of the entire major scale.
This is the entire Blues scale.
The formula is: 1, 2, b3, 3, 5, 6.
This is an example of the Blues scale broken down into six individual modes.
This scale is identical to the Pentatonic scale except for the additional flat third degree.
