The CreamWare A16 Ultra Professional 16-Channel AD/DA Converter houses 16 high-quality, flexible A/D/A converters with 16 analog inputs and outputs for excellent sound quality. 2 ADAT interfaces and 2 Z-Link interfaces offer versatile integration into all kinds of studio setups. Whether you're working with I/O cards, digital mixers, or digital musical instruments, the A16 converts your digital data streams reliably and professionally to audio signals. Likewise, it brings your analog signals into the digital domain with absolute fidelity. Although ADAT standard doesn't include sample rates above 48kHz, the A16 Ultra can transfer audio at 96kHz using S-Mux mode, in which pairs of ADAT channels are coupled, giving you a total of 8 S-Mux channels. Includes 2 independent Z-Link interfaces, using a proprietary standard that's based on FireWire technology for greater bandwidth than is possible with standard ADAT interfaces. Z-Link enables simultaneous transfer of all channels at 24-bit/96kHz, and is ideal for use with all Creamware systems that are equipped with Z-Link. BNC Wordclock I/O Wordclock keeps your digital studio in sync, functioning as both master and slave. 16 VU meters with 5-level indicators permit convenient, precise setting of signal levels and allow you to keep everything under visual control at all times.
