Assuming you know the basics, technique, musical things of sorts. Sure, but you won't go far unless you know that stuff- Unless you have some insane natural talent.. Many boast they do... But few actualy have it. You can become Pro, But know it won't happen for years and years even if you do practice 6 or 7 hours a day. Becoming pro usualy takes a really long time. Lots of people would like to be 'pro' all a profesional guitarist is, is ane expert at his instrument, style and sound. Once you've got your sound and style and the basics hammered down into a fine degree. You are technically pro. Doesn't mean you'll make it anywhere either. Make sure you keep your practices objective, Make sure you set some goals long and short term to reach with your playing ability. There is playing the guitar- and there is practice. Make sure you keep the two separate. Most important- Have fun with it. Music is emotions and feelings. If your not enjoying it, there is something missing from it all and it will lack that feeling when people hear it. Good luck.
