I bought my 'honey' a guitar a few years back at a yard sale. The man told me it was a Gibson Humminbird (which meant absolutely nothing to me at the time - I just knew it was beautiful and I had to have it.) and that he had played it at the Grand Ole Opry years back.From research I have done, it appears that the 'neck' has been changed and I haven't been able to fine any numbers etc. but there is no doubt it is a Hummingbird and the only one that looks like it is thse 1968. Any advice on how to research it's value? Any help would be appreciated.
