I use artificial harmonics and some distortion (or loud volume). While the distortion is turned way up on my amp or by using a distortion pedal, I lightly touch the low E string directly over the fifth fret as I pick. With practice a very high pitch tone is created (artificial harmonic). While that tone is ringing out I then do the same thing on the A string directly over the 7th fret. These two high pitch tones should match. Once the two tones are close to matching you can here them vibrate against each other. The vibrations get faster and faster until the become a solid tone. Then those two strings are in tune. You can do this process again for each set of two strings strings. Note however when tuning the B string that the artificial harmonic is not there, so just use normal comparison by playing a normal B note on the G string and an open B note on the B string.
