The Ultimate Guitar Lesson to Becoming a #1 Guitarist - Read Daily...
I dream of getting this months guitar magazine, displaying the newest guitar heroes, hot tablature and the sheet music too! I deliberately hang on to the magazine, keeping it out of site, until I can find a place to rest and have time to fully learn, from all the great guitar players and have time to study each riff.
Once I am in my most comfortable position, I take a few deep breaths, I look at the cover in anticipation of what's inside.
I close my eyes for a moment, then,
I burst into reading every notation and begin to study every player!
As I look at the pictures of the great guitarists, I see myself one day, as a star. I see myself parking my tour bus at the outside of a sold out concert arena. At the front of the stadium, the huge sign has my name on it, followed by the words Guitar God.
I get done warming up to some guitar exercises & riffs and begin to exit my bus, only to walk through a large number of fans, who want me and my autograph. I sign a few of them with a scribble of the pen, I write my name with the words "Guitar God" and a quick tablature notation exercise. The fans gaze at the signature as they leave whispering to their friends, "look, a hidden guitar lesson, ooh" my manager winks and gives a giggle.
My road crew carries out my many great guitars, my purple Gibson Destroyer, my lovely cream Fender, my black Ibanez beauty. With a careful eye I make sure they don't damage the goods, these guitars are like my lovers.
As I enter the largest concert hall I've ever seen, I hear the loudest ambience of all time. Through the curtains I peek upon an ocean of guitar lovers of all kind, from young inspired wannabes, to some damn lucky punk kids who could probably play a better six string ax, than seven of me.
With the Bass guitar player and drummer starting with an introductory tribal riff, all ready for the show to kick in, I hear the announcer smoothly introduce me by name, as he includes a repertoire of all the awards, for guitar competitions and battle of the Gods, I have won. It seems like I'm a king, on the way to talk to my countrymen.
The introduction music slowly fades as the lights go black. I rush out with my favorite Flying V guitar, get in to place and BOOM, two great explosions on each side of me as the first song of a legendary concert begins.
After the last song, I thank the audience and slap some skin with a few obvious future guitar Gods in the front row and I leave the stage. As I head for the locker room I hear the crowd going crazy chanting, my-name, my-name, my-name. I turn around, come out on stage and the crowd screams so loud, I can't here my self think. I look down on my guitar and play a huge chord that lasts for 3 minutes. I quickly play their favorite tune, you know, the one they've been practicing at home!
The song comes to an emotional end and I hand my favorite guitar to this young guy holding up a peace sign, lipping the words "I love you man". He tears up as he holds his new, slightly beat up, guitar.
I go back to my bus to rest for the next gig. I fall asleep.
I close the magazine, stop daydreaming and run to my room to start practicing like I never have before. Reading every notation, every tablature I can. I practice like this every day as I visualize my success as one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived. I know that what ever I believe in, will eventually turn in to a reality. I believe. It is done.
I am taking all the free guitar lessons that I can learn from.
I am learning from all the guitar books that can help me.
